Reading Life

O Yah I give lots of time on reading if I get some breath in my work. When I first started my journey in net, I dont used to term with reader, feed etc, just browsing web as usual. yah of course google help me lot, still today, I cant think without google. I search, I browse, I read, I get -- this thing happened in first couple of years. But when I get to use on google reader situation is radically changed in my reading life. My friend/buddy all are sharing their cool links with me in GR. Me also share links. But main part is, I am subscribing my favourites coolest site's RSS feeds, not everyday but when I have available times I check all those. Its fascinating, isn't it?!..with one reed roof you get different flavours. I subscribed different type of rss in my google reader but mostly are software engineering, linux, open source, web 2, geek blogs, server technology, SEO. It's cool for me, I use tag/label in feed therefore I can easily point out which one is that.

But an another new thing is arrived in my reading life, Twitter. Yah, change the whole thing and make my reading real time. Everyday I got lots of links, URL in my twiiter account. I followed there web frontier, geeks, techno life and of course tech guys. They share lot everyday, I pretty amazed!!...twitter rockzz.

Yah, when I dont get enough time to read I bookmarked it. Delicious, Diggo, stumbleupon, digg it catch me little bit. I go there not regularly but those things are useful no doubt.

So, thats my reading life buddy....enjoy!

My Twitter Experience

Yah, thats catch me lot...twitter. I am now a big fan of it, it's totally a big world where I think mass men can communicate with each other. Anyway, I dont like to repeat this old story again, you all know better abt twitter than me :D . Hmm...I remember..yup, actually twitter information I got from google reader or any web site's info I guess..but I didnt go through with it in that time. Asif bhai, my x-colleague, who is the superb SEO master, first gave me a brief information on that. That time I was just started to fall on love with twitter. I use numbers of twitter api like autofollow, twit rank, status updater, links etc. But here shortly say abt autofollow...autofollow apis r suckzz...thats not maintain your main stream, like you are a software engineer and you like to follow your type of person in twitter but autofollow is added all kind of persons(most of them twitterbots, SEO marketing guys/ SEO) in your following list which is difficult for you to track all updates/status/links. So I recommend you don't use any autofollow thing in twitter, use it manually.

It's a tragedy,like 3rd company's who develop their api's for twitter doing business lot on that.But twitter actually didn't get any massive thing from their own product. And ofcourse without without 3rd party products, twitter is meaningless. The old web version of twitter was not so cool n organized but situation is changed now...new web version of twitter is improved so nicely.

For my status update, I used my Nokia's mobileweb version, in laptop twitterfox(currently name is changed i guess -- Echofon!) and ofcourse the main website.

09.09.09 - What a day Babe!!

Once again I am going to publish my blog and this time its wordpress again. Now here time is 2.23am, a cool winter night, and going to write something in my laptop. What can I write now?!...any guess. Hmm...I am thinking to write a memorable day of 2009 in my life. Day 09/09/09 , a unforgotable and fabulous day in my life. Yah, you guess right, I got a baby child that day. Me and my wife welcomed our new member in our life, my mother's tears of joy, a long bright smile of my sister, so many shouted moment of lovely relatives only for our new person....yah...my babe girl ….Arpa(this name is temporary, cant figure out a suitable name:D ). When she borned was time 11.30 pm around, our all anxious moment gone when we saw her sweet white face. That's absoulutely remarkable no doubt, cant forgot. At first I sent this news to my closet friend Parag and Rajib, they shout when hear this news...ha ha ha. Boys I love you, you just keep me rock.

Now my daughter is 4 months baby....she just try to see here n there, like to see the world whts going on , dropless eye like to see TV....waoo...what else. I really enjoy the moment when she is sleeping, its like a heaven's flower in my bed. My wife Rimpa take care her lot , no doubt as a father I dont give her much time now:( . Sorry babe, I will fix it soon. Thanks Rimpa to give me a so nice gift. My mother also doing lots of stuff, After retireing from her job, she now get some breath to talk with my child...ha ha ha...she is great. Thanks mom. And what else?? Thanks all for be with me in that day. I really miss you all. I will describe that day fully in my another blog writing. Have to go now...my bed is calling me :D....Good night.

Damn Summer...its burning time

Now a days , Sun burns Bangladesh lot, no air, no humidity...its damn dry hot weather all around in Dhaka city. Actually this city is not developed in proper way, buildings and buildings. When I see from my office, its like a building's ocean city. My office is in 12^th floor, thats why the view is so clear to see the whole city. Whole day, city gain heat but cant release this heat at night due to lots of bricks, buildings heat preservation. No sufficient amount of tree at all.

I am bit frustrated about to see this. I know this heat thing will gradually become increase in upcoming year. But tragedy is that, Govt. and all other agencies don't take necessary step to make it in tolerable situation. Are they wake up soon?? Don't know.

It's become a nightmare, when you have no electricity also in your day/ night hour. Serious electricity power failure is going through out the country. People suffering lot in this time, I am bit lucky that the my living place is near in VIP area, thats why load shedding held here in small chunks. But what for them??...the whole other people of the country....when I write this post, it's night here but due to hot season I am just burning...my brain is not working at all...pray for all to overcome this damn moment in our life.

Apache-MySQL Tuning tips -From My Experience

I give this information from my pratical experience and therefore, this info may not follow the conventional apache-mysql tuning. These all tips are effective, as per my concern.

1. MySQL max_connections should large than Apache max_clients.Ex: if max_connections of MySQL is 330 then Apache max_clients will be below 330, like 300 or something.Severlimits of apache will be similar like max_clients.

2. You can determine max_clients of apache depends on your RAM. If RAM is 2GB then around 350 is a good number. I tell this number specifically for dedicated linux server.You can change the default value of startservers 8 into 30.Apache webserver is now getting more load.Apache 2.2.x webserver works on prefork model and all change will do in this module section. Below I just give the proven numbers of Apache tuning for 2GB RAM. Do this parameter change into "Prefork.c" section


StartServers 30
MinSpareServers 20
MaxSpareServers 30
ServerLimit 330
MaxClients 330
MaxRequestsPerChild 4000


3. For large data table, use InnoDB engine. Eventually MyISAM engine is more faster than InnoDB but it may crash if MySQL server don't handle request properly.

4. If you see MySQL become slow to handle the request, then both MySQL and Apache server need to restart.Remember MySQL server should restart first.

These four tips are exclusively should follow during apache-mysql tuning. There are other some extra tuning work like keepalive "On" instead of "Off". Apache now recommend to On this parameter. Also less time parameter should set for KeepAliveTimeout. By default it set 15 sec.You can set it 4 sec or 6 sec depends on your bandwidth and RAM.Another thing is that disable those modules which you dont need to load in apache now.See all the "Loadmodule" list in httpd.conf file.Just enable which you need and rest of the modules should disable.Apache become more faster to handle request.

Works and Festival

Yeah, now a days I can’t give enough time in my blog. Lots of official and family works are going on. In this month, we have festival both Eid and Puja, vacation is coming towards me. Therefore, I have to finish up all my works before those festivals. I don’t know how I can solve all.

It’s 9.17 am here, the office is just now started. Have to focus in papers and codes. I will be back soon. Just saying little bye.

Google Remove google adsence from my blog

After 3 months I come to my blog and start my post here again.But certainly I see a change in my left side of the blog.There was google adsence but don't see anything there now.For inactive 3 months, google remove the adsence program from my blog.So, beware about this, don't be inactive in blog who are using this program their blog.Remember 3 months :(
